Easy-Plast - a registered patent by Israeli entrepreneur Udi Ratner, Kobi, and other partners. The product brings a refreshing change to a market worth over a billion dollars annually, which hasn't changed much in over 20 years - the sterile bandage market for wound care. The patent was developed by Nimrod from Gizmo's team and even managed to attract investment under the Innovator's Fund project of the Chief Scientist. The product's goal is to provide the home user with a "ready-to-stick" bandage without unnecessary handling of papers and packaging while maintaining the bandage's sterility before application to the wound. The special packaging allows the user to pull out a bandage from the package and remove the paper covering the adhesive using only one hand in a simple pulling motion. The bandage emerges from the package ready to stick on a convenient cardboard tray. Gizmo led recruitment initiatives within the project and even negotiated with the giant American company Johnson & Johnson.
