Device for Detecting the First Wave of an Earthquake
This is an earthquake detection device based on a Geophone sensor and Accelerometer. The device detects the primary wave (P Wave – pressure waves that are the initial waves released after an earthquake) using a 'Geophone' sensor and a signal filtering algorithm. The device's electronics also include: a speaker/buzzer, LED lighting, a digital clock, an AUX output, and a backup battery. Client: Habib Nasser.
